American Association of Invalids & Veterans of World War Two, Announces Endorsement of Ari Kagan

In the race for the 48th Council District in southern Brooklyn, Leonid Rozenberg, President of The American Association of Invalids & Veterans of World War Two*, has endorsed Democratic District Leader Ari Kagan. The association represents over 2,000 veterans citywide who fought Nazis during World War II.

“I have worked with Ari for years and am proud to endorse him in this race. He is always there for veterans, seniors and people with disabilities. Ari is a tireless leader who can bring people together to solve community problems,” Rozenberg said.

“I am honored and humbled to have Mr. Rozenberg’s support,” said Kagan. “I have tremendous respect for all veterans. The Soviet Union saw an unfathomable amount of bloodshed during World War Two. My paternal grandmother and two of her young children were killed by the Nazis in 1942. My grandfather was a solider who died from injuries he suffered in battle. The brave men and women who served deserve our deepest gratitude and our generous assistance.” [Press Release]
